2016 IWGS New Waterlily Competition
The International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society in conjunction with Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the results of the 2016 IWGS New Waterlily Competition.
15 waterlily entries from 4 different countries were grown at Longwood Gardens for the 2016 competition. Thank you to Paul B. Redman, Executive Director, Tim Jennings, Senior Gardener, and the staff of Longwood Gardens for their support as host of the 2016 New Waterlily Competition. Longwood Gardens is known not only for its grandeur as a great garden, but also for its rich history in research and breeding waterlilies and hundreds of other plants.
THE JUDGES
A international panel of judges with a diverse knowledge of Nymphaea was selected to participate in the online judging to evaluate this years competitions entries. The IWGS extends our gratittude for their effort to help make this years contest a success.
