McKee Botanical Garden is, as its founders envisioned, a wild space of natural beauty, a place where guests can feel delightfully “away” from the modern, everyday world beyond its fence.

Listed on the National Register of Historic places, it is an integrated garden set over a native hammock, and home to one of Florida’s most celebrated waterlily collections.

Species and hybrids carpet the surface of the ponds, lushly overgrown in some areas, tightly organized in others, showcasing those plants that excel within McKee’s waterways.  A growing collection meant to inspire, enchant, and educate in a magical setting.
