Deb Spencer was a co-owner of Water’s Edge, a retail/wholesale pond supply & aquatic nursery in Lawrence Kansas. She had over 30 years’ experience in pond construction and water feature maintenance. Deb focused on the wholesale side of their business assisting contractors with design & product selection. She was absolutely goofy about gravel bog filters and trying new plants.

Her achievements in industry include creation of pump performance charts, organization of plants by latin names, attentiveness to new products and plants and her quick response to problems presented to her by industry and general public. She taught me and several others many things but it was the kind personal nature in which she delivered the messages that stuck with me

HoF long overdue and a water gardening hall of fame without her is certainly incomplete.  So with your retirement, this ceremony and so many lives positively impacted I hope you take time to put the beautiful things in your way.
