Painter Claude Monet inducted into IWGS Hall of Fame August 2019
Painter Claude Monet (1840-1926), the prolific practitioner of French Impressionism, was inducted into the ‘Waterlily Hall of Fame’ at a presentation held in Giverny. Giverny was Monet’s home for over 40 years until his death in 1926. His great great grandson, Philippe Piguet, said he was very touched to accept the award, in Monet’s name.…
